Tonight was homemade pizza night. It was on our Summer-To-Do list. So we did it.
… and still wearing her jammies from this morning. She wanted to. I let her.
We had homemade pizza when I was growing up. It was always a special event.
We each made our own pie. With our favorite toppings.
My parents helped.
It’s one of those memories that you forget about for years and years.
Til you have kids of your own, and you decide you want to repeat it.
We had these after dinner. I was impressed with them. Easy. Tasty. Kids can help stir.
Jell-O Peanut Butter Parfaits
1 large package instant chocolate pudding
1 cup Cool Whip/Whipped Topping
3 Tbsp. peanut butter
3 Tbsp. milk
Prepare pudding according to directions on the box.
Mix peanut butter and milk until blended. Mix PB mixture with whipped topping until smooth. Layer chocolate pudding on the bottom of a parfait glass, followed by PB mixture, then pudding again. Top with extra whipped topping, crushed oreos or chocolate shavings if desired. Clean off parfait glasses if you want to be fancy. I didn’t. I let it smear. Still tasted good.
Makes 6 parfaits.
